Hmm, maybe a Supes snippet at the end? I could be Waaaayyy out of the ballpark tho…. After seeing the leaked footage for Man of Steel, I think that these movies could safely co-exist in the same universe. They look that damn similar.
Check it out here:. Has anyone ever stopped to think that with all the remakes and rewrites and redubs and script add-ons and blah blah blah that this John Blake character could be Robin?
Blake does takes over as Batman and is guided from the cave by Wane himself much like Batman Beyond, with flying car and all. Last time I heard this type of talk when the fans of the Sopranos said that they believed that Tony Soprano died when the screen went black only to groan in irritation when he said that the mobster and husband, father did not die. Batman will live in the end so get over your death premonitions already.
It will go to show that Batman lives on even if the man behind the mask meets his end. Shows you can not kill a legendary hero. There could be an after credit scene, that include the new Superman movie, where Batman is talking to Superman.
Im a projectionist and have just finishing assembling our 35 mm prints of the dark knight rises and there is nothing after the credits just a lonely old Warner bros tag. He's got chains on him, and he's standing on a wooden thing while people are attacking him.
And in that scene, he's wearing a much more ragged, primitive version of the mask. While I don't think The Dark Knight Rises needs to be any longer, and I can understand why the scene was cut, this sequence sounds incredibly cool. I would like to see what Hemming designed as the "primitive version" of the mask. The GQ writer later informs Hemming that the scene didn't make the final cut, and she says she won't go into further details, but then she adds that there's another scene "that showed you why he had the mask and where it came from.
Matt Goldberg has been an editor with Collider since He resides in Atlanta with his wife and their dog Jack. Since there are no League of Shadows members around to give him pointers, this would be a significantly more difficult task, but with enough time, he would get to the point where he could take on the criminal underworld with just his fists and the right tools more on that in the next section. Just like Bruce, he would need a support team helping him out. The first person to join is obvious: Commissioner James Gordon.
Despite turning in his badge, Blake holds no ill will towards Gordon by the end of The Dark Knight Rises , and would surely turn to the commissioner for assistance in rooting out the criminals of Gotham.
Since he worked with John before, he would likely be game with striking up another alliance. Just make sure to keep any and all axes away from it. That said, once Lucius learns that Blake is the Bat-heir after the events of The Dark Knight Rises , one could easily see him being open to providing the young hero with tech. At the very least, John needs his own Tumbler - black paint job optional. Maybe he could act as a counselor for John in the same way that Alfred Pennyworth was for Bruce Wayne.
He can be the hero the city needs and deserves. Depending on your outlook, the gritty metropolis may never be fully "healed. But the point is that just like his predecessor, John Blake will find himself dealing with a better and more colorful class of criminal from time to time. Would this have made good material for a fourth Dark Knight movie?
